Gerald  “Lee” Tucker of Fort Lupton, Colorado age 56 died October 3rd 2017. Jerry was born to George and Emily Tucker on March 2, 1961 in Brighton, Colorado. The Family moved to Fort lupton in 1969 from Keenesburg, Colorado. He graduated from Fort Lupton High School in 1979,

 

Jerry married Julie Osier also of Fort Lupton in 1985 at the family's ranch west of Larkspur, Colorado. Jerry and Julie had their only child Amanda Lee in June of 1986.

 

The family moved to California in April of 1988. Jerry worked with his father in law Jim and brother in law Randy at Pearce Enterprise. Jerry moved back to Colorado in 1995 and continued his work in Construction.

 

Jerry enjoyed fishing, Camping, playing cribbage, holidays with family, and sports. His favorite teams were the Denver Broncos, Avalanche, and the Colorado Eagles. Together with his brother Terry and good friend Ray formed the annual Mendoza-Tucker fishing tournament in Wyoming in 2000. Jerry’s greatest love of all was his daughter Amanda Lee.

 

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Julie, mother and father, brothers Joe Pettinari, George Tucker, his sister Pamela Pettinari, and father in law Jim Osier and niece Cissy Foster.

 

He is survived by his daughter Amanda Lee Tucker-Nguyen, sister Evelyn Mcelroy of Florida, Shirley Terry of Centennial, Pauline Eklund of Denver, Jane(Lee) Tucker of Canon City, Terry Tucker(Shelly), Gilda Rudy(Larry) of Fort Lupton. Scott Tucker, Jannelle(Frank) Ondatje of Greeley, and Bill(Susie) Tucker of Canon City. Along with twenty-one nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services at 2:30 pm on Monday at Erlinger Funeral home in Fort Lupton, Colorado. With a reception following at the American Legion post 102 in Fort Lupton.
