Welcome to the memorial page for

Carolyn Redd

July 31, 1952 ~ January 2, 2018 (age 65)

Carolyn was born in Waco, Texas to Bill and Jennie Hillin. Her early years were spent in the Philippines and when her father retired from the Air Force in the late 1960’s; they settled in Boulder. Her parents learned the truth from the Bible first and then taught the truth to their children, from which Carolyn made Bible truth her own and symbolizes her dedication to Jehovah by baptism in 1971 at the age of 19 in Denver. She had graduated that same year from Fairview High School in Boulder.

Carolyn was known for always being ready to talk about her beliefs. She introduced childhood friends to Bible truth as well as parents of children she babysat and coworkers and later medical attendants. Several people have learned the truth from Carolyn and are still loyally sticking to Jehovah. As sick as she was later in life, Carolyn was always cheerful, ready to laugh and ready to make a stand for Jehovah.

Carolyn loved food, family and good friends and especially together. As Carolyn’s health declined; she spent time witnessing informally and letter writing. One of her last concerns was to make sure a Bible Teach got mailed off to a man she had witnessed to.

Carolyn found humor in even the most difficult circumstances; she loved people and loved to show it and share her life and hope for the future.

Everyone that knew Carolyn has fond stories filled with humor that we will continue to be entertained by we welcome her back to life here on Earth.

Services held Saturday January 13th at 4:00pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses
