Maryanne Robbins

December 24, 1948 ~ August 4, 2018 (age 69)

Maryanne Robbins was bom December 24, 1948 in Gillette Wyoming to Merle Robbins and Placide Robbins.

She was married in 1966 to Richard Stone and gave birth in 1967 to Rick Stone and in 1968 to Tim Stone. She moved to Casper Wyoming and began a career in telephone installation becoming the first woman in Wyoming to climb telephone poles as part of the installations.

Then the family moved to Odessa Texas where she began a career in real estate and gave birth to Britt and John Paul Heaps. In 1980 she retumed to the family's J Milliron Ranch South of Gillette Wyoming. There she began her banking career and focused on raising four active boys independently.

In 1992 she moved to Billings Montana with John Paul and Rick to begin a new chapter in her story. She worked as a mortgage officer at various banks and enjoyed helping families obtain homes. She stayed in Montana until 2005 when she moved to Alabama to be near her sons Tim and John Paul and their families. There she dabbled in many industries including over the road truck driving, manufacturing, banking and mortuary services.

She lived a remarkable life and was tougher than barbwire. When meeting her after hearing of her legend a man once remarked "l thought you'd be bigger, and honestly not quite so attractive." True Story.

Maryanne enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, theatre and the arts, gardening, ongoing education, singing, playing piano, helping others and spending time marveling at her grandchildren.

Maryanne was a dedicated mother who sacrificed many things to raise her boys. She was a great friend and cherished those relationships. She was a valued employee wherever she worked and instilled a strong work ethic in her children. She was an amazing grandmother and was adored by her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Merle, Mother Placide, brother Tom and her son Rick.

She is survived by her brother Gene Robbins and her sons, their wives, and her six grandchildren she adored. Tim(Stacy) - Abby, Perry; Britt (Lora), Alex, Chloe; John Paul (Kama), Elizabeth Anne, John Lewis. And Dozens of cousins, nephews, nieces etc. Funeral services will be held in Broomfield Colorado at Nativity of Our Lord Friday Aug. 10 at 10:30am, Gillette Wyoming atand Madison Alabama at St John the Baptist Catholic Church Friday Aug. 17 at Ipm.
